What is Microneedling Radiofrequency?
Microneedling RF (Radiofrequency) is a cosmetic procedure that combines two techniques: microneedling and radiofrequency energy. Microneedling itself involves using a device with tiny needles to create controlled micro-injuries on the skin’s surface. These micro-injuries stimulate the skin’s natural healing response, triggering the production of collagen and elastin, which are essential for maintaining youthful and healthy skin.
In microneedling RF, radiofrequency energy is delivered to the deeper layers of the skin through the micro-injuries created by the needles. The radiofrequency energy heats the skin, stimulating collagen and elastin production further, while also providing additional tightening and rejuvenation effects.
What is happening during Microneedling RF treatment?
Before The Procedure
A topical anesthetic is applied for 30 minute. That helps to numb the area and to reduce any pain that might be felt during the treatment.
During The Procedure
A practitioner uses a sterilized disposable Microneedling tool that contains tiny golden needles. Once the procedure begins, an aesthetician runs the tool evenly across the skin to create tiny holes in the stratum corneum, the outermost layer of the skin.
After The Procedure
A cooling gel Aloe Vera mask is applied to help calm the skin and reduce inflammation and redness.
There’s no necessary downtime. You may notice some redness and some minor skin irritation for 1 to 3 days after the procedure, but this is generally nothing to worry about and should pass as your skin heals.
It takes time for the formation of new collagen. You’ll typically have to wait 2 to 6 weeks between sessions to allow the skin to repair itself. After the first session you will see noticeable results.

You can wear makeup 24 hours after the procedure.
We recommend that you take the evening off from social activities on the day of the treatment. You should feel comfortable to return to normal social activities no later than 24 hours post-treatment, without anyone knowing you’ve had a procedure.
