Every Sculptra BBL treatment plan is based on individual anatomy, tissue quality, skin laxity, cellulite, contour concerns, previous procedures and aesthetic goals. The amount of Sculptra and treatment plan are determined following medical evaluation rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.
Procedures are performed by an experienced Registered Nurse injector who also trains aesthetic professionals in injectable techniques.
Sculptra BBL is an off-label use of Sculptra in the United States. Treatment candidacy and planning are determined by a licensed medical provider.
Sculptra is designed for progressive improvement rather than instant filler-like projection.
Patients may begin noticing changes at approximately 8 weeks, as collagen production develops. Results continue to evolve throughout the treatment series, with final results generally evaluated approximately 6 months after completing the series.
Results may last approximately 2 years or longer, although longevity varies based on treatment amount, metabolism, lifestyle, aging and changes in body weight.
Your appointment includes a review of your medical history and goals, before photos, standing assessment and marking, cleansing, and numbing. Sculptra is then placed through several small entry points, primarily using a cannula, while your provider checks balance and symmetry throughout the treatment.
After treatment, the area is assessed and massaged, and the 5-5-5 massage technique is demonstrated. A standard 10-vial appointment takes approximately 60-90 minutes, including preparation and treatment.
Treatment is customized according to anatomy, tissue quality, cellulite, skin laxity, contour irregularities and aesthetic goals.
For cellulite and dimpling treatment only, Beauty Pro NYC currently uses a minimum of 5 vials.
For a Sculptra BBL focused on contour and volume enhancement, the current Beauty Pro NYC protocol starts at 10 vials, with a maximum of 10 vials per treatment session.

Most treatment plans involve approximately 2–3 sessions, spaced 8 weeks apart.
Some clients may require additional sessions depending on their starting anatomy, degree of cellulite or skin laxity, contour concerns, desired improvement and individual collagen response.
Your progress is typically evaluated approximately 8 weeks after treatment before the next session is planned.
Sculptra BBL is not appropriate for everyone. Beauty Pro NYC requires medical evaluation and screening before treatment.
Under the current clinic protocol, treatment is not performed during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with certain autoimmune conditions, active infection or inflammation in the treatment area, known hypersensitivity to Sculptra components, history of keloid or hypertrophic scarring, or when the material from a previous buttock filler is unknown.
Certain medications, medical conditions, recent infections, antibiotics, previous procedures, implants and significant fibrosis also require additional evaluation.

After a surgical fat-transfer BBL, Beauty Pro NYC requires at least 6 months and complete healing before Sculptra may be considered.
Patients with buttock implants may potentially be treated after at least 6 months, complete healing and medical-provider evaluation.
Previous fillers also require review. If the product previously injected into the buttocks is unknown, treatment is postponed until the product can be verified.
Give it time. Sculptra works gradually, so the change may be subtle after your first treatment. Results continue to develop as collagen builds, especially after completing your treatment series.
Yes. You can have additional Sculptra treatments later to refresh or maintain your results. The timing depends on how your results develop over time.
The immediate fullness is mostly from the fluid used to prepare Sculptra and normal swelling. As that fluid is absorbed, the temporary fullness decreases. The actual result then develops gradually as your body produces collagen.
Usually, yes. An escort is not routinely required when only local anesthetic is used, and most patients can drive if they feel well after treatment.
No. Sculptra is not an HA filler and cannot be dissolved with hyaluronidase.
Yes. Improving cellulite/dimpling, skin quality and firmness is one of the primary treatment goals. For cellulite/dimpling treatment alone, the current protocol starts at a minimum of 5 vials.
Most clients can return to non-physical work the same day. Strenuous physical activity still needs to be avoided during early healing.
You may leave with small bandages over entry points and can have temporary redness, swelling, bruising, tenderness, or small marks. Bandages are generally kept on for about 48 hours.
Sculptra does not behave like a traditional HA filler. Proper placement and aftercare are important. If you notice a new lump, unusual unevenness or another unexpected change, contact the medical team so the area can be checked.
Potentially. Treatment may be considered at least 6 months after surgical fat transfer once healing is complete. Persistent swelling, fibrosis, inflammation, fat necrosis or other complications may require a longer interval.
No. Normal sitting is generally allowed after Sculptra BBL, and a donut pillow is not routinely required.
They can be part of one overall treatment plan, but not the same treatment session. Beauty Pro NYC separates the two treatments by 2 months in either direction.
