Radiesse BBL is a non-surgical injectable body-contouring treatment using Radiesse, a calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) collagen-stimulating injectable. Under the current Beauty Pro NYC protocol, hyperdiluted Radiesse is used for BBL/cellulite treatment.
The primary goals are improved skin firmness, cellulite and dimpling, skin texture and mild contour irregularities. Radiesse BBL is not designed to create the same immediate volume or projection as HA Liquid BBL.
Radiesse itself is an FDA-approved injectable product, but using Radiesse in the buttocks is an off-label use in the United States. Treatment candidacy and planning are determined by the medical provider.
Treatment planning depends on the primary goal, anatomy, skin condition, cellulite, laxity and contour concerns. The medical provider determines the final plan.
The exact amount should not be selected solely from website photos or a generic chart; medical evaluation is required.
Radiesse BBL is generally performed as approximately 1–3 sessions depending on the patient’s goals and response.
Under the current Beauty Pro NYC protocol, the next Radiesse session is separated by approximately 6 months. Routine follow-up and final contour assessment are approximately 2 months after treatment.
Radiesse and HA may be part of the same overall aesthetic plan, but they are not performed in the same appointment. Under the current protocol, HA → Radiesse is separated by 2 months, while Radiesse → HA is separated by 6 months.
Gentle massage begins the same day as treatment to help distribute the product evenly.
GENTLE MASSAGE: 3 TIMES PER DAY × 3 DAYS
The current protocol does not specify a fixed number of minutes for each massage. Follow the individualized technique and duration given by the medical provider. Aggressive or deep massage should not be performed during early healing.
Beauty Pro NYC requires medical screening before Radiesse BBL. Under the current protocol, treatment is not performed during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with autoimmune conditions, active cancer/current cancer treatment, silicone/biopolymers/permanent filler in the buttocks, or when a previous buttock filler is unknown.
Prescribed anticoagulants, recent infection or antibiotics, recent surgery, implants, significant fibrosis or scar tissue and previous buttock procedures require appropriate medical review.
Yes. Radiesse BBL does not require your own body fat. It may be an option for thinner patients who want to improve cellulite, skin firmness or mild contour concerns.
Yes. Radiesse can be placed differently on each side to help improve mild asymmetry and create a more balanced contour.
Yes. It may help improve loose-looking skin, firmness, texture and mild contour changes after weight loss.
It can help soften mild hip dips and create a smoother contour. For deeper hip dips or more noticeable volume, HA Liquid BBL may be a better option.
Yes. Radiesse BBL is mainly used for cellulite, dimpling, skin firmness and texture. It can improve the area without creating the same type of volume as HA Liquid BBL.
Weight changes can change the shape and volume of your buttocks, so they can also change how your Radiesse BBL result looks.
Wear loose, comfortable clothing. Avoid tight leggings, shapewear or anything that puts a lot of pressure on the treated area right after your appointment.
Flying is generally allowed after 24 hours. Use a donut pillow while seated.
Some temporary firmness or small uneven areas can happen while you heal. If you notice increasing pain, redness, warmth, swelling, skin-color changes or a lump that does not improve, contact the medical team for evaluation.
